They recently hosted three sold-out (free!) cooking classes where guests could learn how to make easy, tasty recipes.
He was great at telling people how to cook things while she was helpful in telling people why it was good to eat those things. We learned a lot!
Did you know we live right down the street from an amazing oil and vinegar store?
Chef2 is located in Midtown Crossing and is owned by a husband/wife, chef/nutritionist team. Talk about a great pairing! They sell heart-healthy extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salts, and sugars in a wide variety of flavors. They also have fun cooking tools and supplies.
And of course what cooking class is complete without samples? We got to try the following:
—1st course: French baguette with Italian Herb olive oil/Lemon salt
—2nd course: Mix greens with a blueberry balsamic/blood orange oil vinaigrette
—3rd course: Seven grain orzo pasta/sun dried tomato pesto/smoked serrano salt
—4th course: Ice cream with chocolate balsamic reduction
It was all so good. If you’re ever looking for ways to spice up your cooking routine we recommend checking out Chef2.
